Hexagonal Boron Nitride

HBN is a kind of white powder of loose, lubricious and easy moisture absorption with theoretical density 2.27g/cm3 , Moh’s hardness 2, low mechanical strength , but high than graphite. It has fine electrical insulation, thermal conductivity, High Temperature Stability, Lubricious, Inert, Non-Wetting, chemical corrosion resisting property, anti-oxygenation property and lubricating property. It has strong neutron absorbent power. Because of its stable chemical property, it is not reactive to almost every melting metals. It can bear high temperature of 2000 degree centigrade, thus has the fine property of mechanical process.
