The TriNet Voice Gateway includes one or two GSM phones, depending on the model (models QTU21 or QTU22). It has two RJ11 phone ports to attach standard analog phones or to an office PBX phone system. It includes a wide area network (WAN) port for Internet connectivity, and a built-in 4-port 10/100 Base-T Switching hub. It is truly a voice and data integrated networking device. To better understand the functionality of the TriNet, below is a list of the benefits that the TriNet can provide: Instant phone service for your office or residence There is no need to wait for your local phone company to install expensive land lines for your office or residence. Purchase a prepaid or postpaid mobile phone SIM card from your local mobile operator and plug it into your gateway. In doing so, you create an office phone network with auto-attendant and two regular phone extensions. Your customers can call your office on your SIM mobile number. You can also make local outbound calls using the GSM network. You may record your own auto-attendant greetings. Low-cost international calls from your office Pick up a phone attached to your gateway and make international calls over the iConnect VOIP network. Call Europe, US and most of Asia for pennies per minute. A broadband Internet connection is required, such as DSL, cable, or a T1. Low-cost international calls from your mobile phone Don’t wait to get to the office to make an international call. Using your mobile phone, just call your TriNet gateway SIM number. Then select the option 3 to make an international call. Calls will be routed over the VOIP network at tremendous cost savings. You pay your mobile operator only for a local mobile call. The international portion of the call is routed over the iConnect VOIP network at super-low international rates. The TriNet device password protects access to this feature so you can control its use. A US phone number Your TriNet includes a phone number in the US. People in the US and anywhere in the world can call the US number and it will ring in your office no matter what country you are in, even if you travel with the unit. Now you can conduct business in the US as if your office was physically located there. The call from the US to your mobile gateway is transported for free over the Internet. A low monthly charge fee is charged for your US number. Call-forwarding from your US number to your personal mobile phone Your TriNet can be configured to send all calls from your US number to your personal mobile phone. The TriNet will receive the call from the US over the VOIP network and then place an outbound call over the GSM network to your mobile phone. This means anyone in the world can reach you on your mobile phone if you are out of the office. If you have a price plan from your mobile operator that offers free calls between mobile phones on its network, then calls from your TriNet Gateway to your mobile phone can be free. The person calling you pays only for a call to the US. Customizable call treatment Your TriNet has powerful call routing features that can be configured to handle a wide variety of scenarios. For example, calls can be automatically routed from GSM to numbers over the VOIP network if you want your local number sent to another number overseas. You may customize call treatment for each user identified by his or her caller identification. An inbound call for a specific client can be immediately forwarded to any number in the world. Other callers may be offered a list of speed dial numbers. Your local number can be configured to send all calls from your US number to your personal mobile phone. Connect your PC workstations and share your Internet connection The TriNet gateway comes with four local area network (LAN) ports so you can attach up to four workstations for your office network. You can share your DSL or cable line for browsing the Internet and making phone calls. You can make up to four phone calls and have up to four workstations browsing the Internet. The gateway gives priority to voice calls, so that Internet browsing will not degrade your voice quality. Attach your office PBX If you have a large office with a PBX system, you can connect the TriNet to the PBX and offer low cost international calls to everyone in the office. Also, with the TriNet, your PBX can answer calls from your US number. Free international calls between TriNet units When you put TriNet in multiple locations, you can call on-network for free. This means that calls between offices are free. Also, if you call into your TriNet from your mobile phone and call to another TriNet phone number that is forwarded to its owner’s mobile phone, then international calls between cell phones are free.
