The types of blister packaging products are as follows:

Blister Tray - preformed, rigid, transparent plastic “bubbles” which are shaped to conform to and dramatize the product’s contour and highlight its benefits.

Clamshell Blister - hinged, bi-folded or tri-folded blisters allowing two-sided product visibility.

Blister Cover - a thermoformed plastic shells made to conform to the shape of the product being packaged. A printed paperboard backer carrying the product's sales message will be sealed at the back of the blister cover..

Two Piece Blister - a double blister for encapsulating a product for product visibility on two sides.
