Luo Han Guo Extract of 40% MagosideV -The ideal sweetener with few calorie.

Luo Han Guo(Momordica grosvenori Swingle) is the fruit of Momordica grosvenori, a plant cultivated in the mountains of southern China. Luohanguo has been used as a medicinal herb for treating cough and sore throat and is popularly considered, in southern China, to be a longevity aid. Luohanguo has more recently been developed into a non-caloric sweetener that can be used for fat people and diabetics. We make out our unique process to extract Mogroside V to 40% content, that is the leading technology in China and we have apply our patent about it.

The sweet taste of luohanguo comes primarily from mogrosides, they have the same origin: Mogrol. Mogroside VI and Mogroside V are the main mogrosides for the sweeter. Mogroside V has 256-344 times as sweet degree as sugar and Mogroside VI has 125times as sweet degree as sugar by weight.

It is proved by our researches that an extract contains 20% Magroside V will keep too many characteristic Luo Han Guo taste, therefore this grade should not be suitable as sweetener. On another hand, when the content of Mogroside V has been improved to 60% in the extract, its cost will be double of 40% grade when receive same sweet degree, but its taste in purity side seems has not been conspicuously meliorated. Consequently, we standardized our Magou-V TM by 40% Mogroside V to enable our customers will use the best products at relative lowest costs.
